Last Weeks Damage!

My favorite 9'0" Longboard cut in two at Oside Harbor last week. She was a good ride, carbon fiber stringer, epoxy, 2 + 1. This was insanely fast and loose board but at 2.25" thick, I knew time was running out!

Old McCoy Repair Project

Here is my next repair  project I'm starting for fun. It's an old Greg Pautch shape McCoy surfboard that my brother in law wanted me to see if it was worth fixing and it's been on the side of the house for a better part of 5 years or so. Greg Pautch was Geoff McCoy's main shaper at the factory in Costa Mesa, Ca., back in when Geoff was rockin here in California. Geoff brought in Greg to shape all the boards here in the states so he could concentrate on boards in Hawaii, Australia, Japan. This was a stock board for Inflight in Seal Beach, board # 8426, and glassed at Greg Martz glass shop -Waterman's Guild. Check back often to see the progress of this board! Later
